Samos, Greece
Samos is an island in the greek archipelago. Samos is 43 km long and 13 km wide. It is one of the most fertile islands of the Aegean Sea. This means that the island is full of trees and the green matches great with the blue sea. Perhaps the most famous persons ever connected with Samos were Pythagoras. In 1955 the town of Tigani was renamed Pythagoreio in honour of the famous mathematician.

A view of Pythagorion as seen from hotel Antonios.

The beach Mykali close to Psili Amos. Quite beach with a great tavern just at the beach.

Feta cheese, tomatoes, olives and olive oil, what else do you need?

A view of the biggest town on Samos, also called Samos.

A fishing boat in Kokkari, a very cousy village close to Samos town.

Tsamadou beach, be careful to not go on the right side of the beach, that's where the nudists are... :-)

The view from the lovely mountain village Manolates.

The small and quite beach Kervelis on the eastern Samos.
