San Francisco, USA
The most European city in US, I was told. And I think it's right. San Francisco is still very American, in the sense that there are cars every war. There are no walk-only streets. But there is a lot to see, Alcatraz, Golden Gate, Pier 39, Fisherman’s Wharf and much more. The old railway trams where thrilling to ride, even though you can't stop thinking about what would happen if the old brakes failed when the tram goes down the very steep roads...

The municipal railway was both fun and scary to ride

The crookedest street in San Francisco, is called Lombart Street

The sea lions at Pier 39 are taking a nap

The sunset from Pier 39 with alcatraz in the right hand corner

This view from Alcatraz, really shows that San Francisco is built on a hill

From Alcatraz you can see Golden Gate, the famous bridge
